Unbox is groovy IMO, but you take to set it upwards in a certain style to be worth it.

The dainty matter about Amazon movie/Idiot box purchase is that using Unbox allows them to exist downloaded as MP4 files locally. And so they can be played across WMC and stored in your media folders.

Y'all don't need Unbox to exist open or running to play the videos, so simply install information technology, and so plow off everything that makes it run in the background. Simply open it manually whenever you desire to download new shows or movies yous have purchased, so shut the program.

I think the OP's problem is he tried to download a bunch of stuff from Amazon and saturated his local network. And then when he tried to stream content over the local network to his extenders, there wasn't plenty bandwidth available because of all the AU downloads. And so naturally that makes AU bad...

Amazon. It's what they call their mechanism for viewing the movies you buy or rent from them.

When you buy a film, yous accept to download information technology via their app.

And just for description, information technology's called Amazon Unbox, non Amazon Unboxed.

Personally I don't like Amazon Unbox because Amazon encodes the content with Windows Media and the resulting files do non support DD/DTS. Additionally, concluding fourth dimension I checked, movies were only available in SD, while some Television receiver shows were available in Hd. I'm not interested in paying for depression quality content, so I utilize culling sources for downloading movies.

Well, I have Amazon Prime. Use my PC to scan titles and add to my picket listing then use my Bluray player to picket.

I accept the android app and ipad app only I don't encounter any "app" for the PC. When I go to a title using my PC, it does not requite me any selection to download, only play in a browser.

Does anyone have an actual link to this app for the PC that allows downloading titles?
